Delayed Openings and Early Dismissal

In case of inclement weather, the HLC policy is as follows:

Closed when the Anne Arundel County public schools are closed, the Heritage Learning Center is closed. When AACPS are closed for multiple days, HLC will make an independent decision. Parents will be notified via My ProCare parent portal.

2 hour delayed opening due to weather, the Heritage Learning Center will open 1 hour late. Our doors open at 10:00 am for students. There will be no Early Birds.

HLC will close at 12:00, with no lunch bunch, when the Anne Arundel County public schools have an early dismissal due to weather.

If the Anne Arundel County public schools close during an HLC session, please pick up your child as soon as possible. Families will be notified of the school status via My ProCare parent portal.
